Mr. Vladimir Dzodzo, General Manager PSC d.o.o, presented its parking space management system-SMS4Parking at Microsoft annual Partner Summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
SMS4Parking is a modern system and a platform for the parking authorities that enables them to instill more orderly and efficient way of providing a street parking services and managing such services. It also increases the utilization of each parking space, provides for easier and much more efficient way of charging for parking services thus resulting in two main improvements: increase of the quality of service to the parking public while significantly increasing the parking revenues.
More than 150 Microsoft partner companies from the CEE region were present at the Summit and at the SMS4Parking presentation. At the end of the conference it was concluded that SMS4Parking follows modern IT trends and brings great value in parking management of modern cities. |

This is the seventh city in Serbia which decided to use SMS4Parking™ system for parking space management. Niš is the third biggest city in Serbia. |

Out of 14 Serbian companies represented at the National Pavilion of Serbia at CeBIT 2006, Pakom Solution Centre generated the biggest interest of foreign partners with its solution for parking space management. How does this system actually work?
The general impression of all Serbian companies is that they are all satisfied with the participation at CeBIT. The National Pavilion of Serbia has been organized by Serbian Import Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA). Most of the companies offered outsourcing services, but some of them (such as Novatronic and Perihard) offered actual products, technologies or solutions.
Pakom Solution Centre is one of the companies which did not offer just outsourcing services (although this is part of their portfolio), but presented a complete solution SMS4Parking, which comprises infrastructure, software and services necessary to solve parking problems in urban areas – cities that have lack of parking space. |

Significant number of various cities around the world face the problem of parking space management. Constant collision of stationary and dynamic traffic, disables regular functioning of cities. Introduction of certain systems and rules for parking in the street, as well as for all other city parking capacities, make living in cities bearable. Development of state-of-the-art technologies for mobile communication and its usage in everyday life, enables us to use such technology to pay for parking and significantly simplify and speed up this process.
In our country, the very first steps in solving parking space problem were taken in 2003 in Belgrade.
The main objective of introducing state-of-the-art systems of parking space management based on mobile communications is to reduce negative influence to dynamic traffic and to raise quality of stationary traffic.
During 2004 and 2005, our Research and Development Team developed software solution for open parking space management - SMS4Parking. SMS4Parking is the only homemade functional solution for the payment and monitoring of parking, fully developed and patented by our experts. It appeared as a result of the market demands for complete and modern solution which would fulfill all users requests.
SMS4Parking is founded on system of limited parking time in zones.
SMS4Parking is the only solution based on state-of-the-art Microsoft technologies on .NET technology with Web services implemented.
Furthermore, PSC d.o.o. is able to provide many financial and other conveniences in the process of the implementation of the solution such as: long-term loans, leasing of hardware and software, renting of specific services, maintenance services and technical support. |

PSC d.o.o. Company has had the honor to be one of 14 Serbian companies represented at the Serbian National Pavilion at the world biggest ICT fair Cebit. We presented software solutions for parking space management - SMS4Parking.
After successful introduction to the domestic market, we decided to offer the solution to the European market. Our prominent outburst has fulfilled our expectations and defined our goal – to generate qualitative leads and initiate the process of developing a network of European partners that meet necessary requirements and qualifications for promotion, sale, implementation and maintenance of the SMS4Parking solution. Furthermore, we have established significant contacts with various parking associations of Europe, as well as large IT companies interested in supporting further promotion and improvement of this solution. However, the greatest success of our participation at this year’s Cebit is the initiation of agreement for implementation of the SMS4Parking solution in one of the countries in the region. |
