SMS4Parking™ functions
equally well in small and large cities. SMS4Parking™ is
the first functional and integrated Parking Management System based

system encompasses both parking payment and parking management functions
enabling the parking authorities to centrally manage and control parking
services and parking payments.
Application system structure
SMS4Parking™ software system, with its functionality
and integration of different subsystems, enables complete functioning
of parking space
management. On the level of application systems SMS4Parking system

providers and special SMS billing platform )

working of parking attendants on the field (GPRS) ( Special optional features:

• CORE SYSTEM ( BACK OFFICE ) ADMINISTRATIVE APPLICATION for processing
of payments and fines before entering the financial part of the system,
for the needs of call centre, reporting, cashier and Accounting,
Special Permit Scheme, Fines reporting, Police Reporting, MIS, Statistical
and Traffic Reporting, Staff Deployment Planning, Equipment Deployment
Planning, Security and Staff Access Control, Financial Statements
on transactions.
• FINANCIAL AND BOOK-KEEPING APPLICATION as the main part of the system
for financial bookkeeping, accounting…
• WEB SERVICES, which are the communication part of the system that connects
SMS Center and GPRS application with the central part of the system
in the Municipality)
• WINDOWS SERVICES for transferring data from the data base of SMS Centre
Premium to the data base in Municipality;
• DATABASE (SMS Centre and Central data base in the Municipality);
SMS4Parking™ provides the
users with the point of sale system for parking services at each
user’s
cell phone. All charges for parking services are available 24/7.
Parking charges can be flexible (multiple pricing for different
time periods or special events) and the whole city can be divided
into different parking zones with different business models (i.e.
downtown can have one or two hours maximum parking restrictions,
surcharge for certain streets or certain time periods. This will
also increase a turnaround of each parking space and also provide
for the full efficiency (i.e. if someone finds the meter that has
45 minutes left there is no new charge resulting from such parking-in
our scenario every net transaction starts from 0).
The SMS4Parking™ solution gathers
all transactions made from mobile phones of users, as well as privileged
and reserved tickets
(parking devices and access control points optional) in real-time.
As messages are received, SMS4Parking™ stores them in a Microsoft® SQL
Server database and simultaneously displays them on site maps in
your browser. Any exception message can be designated as an Alarm
for highlighted display, as well as being e-mailed to the appropriate
responder's computer or text-messaging device. Lot counts, differentials,
and statistics are readily available on screen at all times.
